Head of Litigation

Position: Head of Litigation

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Description: Alpha Advocates and Legal Consultants is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Litigation to lead our litigation department in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned legal professional with a strong background in litigation, capable of providing effective leadership and managing complex legal matters.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the litigation department, overseeing a team of lawyers and legal professionals.

Develop and implement strategic plans for the litigation department in alignment with the firm’s overall goals.

Provide legal advice and guidance on complex litigation cases to internal teams and clients.

Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations.

Supervise the preparation of legal documents, pleadings, and briefs.

Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting litigation in the UAE.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and the judiciary.

Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for litigation cases.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Law; Master’s degree is a plus.

Proven experience as a litigation attorney with a focus on leadership roles.

In-depth knowledge of UAE litigation laws and procedures.

Strong organizational and managerial skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Ability to mentor and develop legal talent within the department.

Demonstrated success in managing high-stakes litigation cases.

Membership in the UAE Bar Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a leadership role within a reputable law firm.
